Theta Phi Founder’s Day Weekend & Kappa Classic Spring Golf Tournament Friday-Sunday, April 23rd – 25th , 2010
What: Kappa Classic Spring Golf Tournament and Founders Day Weekend The annual alumni golf tournament each spring has been a time for us to get together, renew bonds, and enjoy the fellowship that only such events can produce. As you know, this event is one our only means of funding for scholarships and house improvement needs. In addition to the entry fee, individual sponsorships of holes 1-18 and sponsorship of the longest drive, closest to the pin, and longest putt, will be sold for $100.00 each. Your individual name or your company logo will be displayed at the hole you sponsor as well as on the back of our commemorative golf tournament t-shirt.
When & Where:
April 23rd: Friday Night Mixer: 7:00pm: Larry Bud’s Sports Bar and Grill: 2120 N. Woodlawn
April 24nd: Saturday- Braeburn Golf Course: 8:00am: Wichita State University: 4201 E. 21st We will have a shotgun start at 8:00 am: We will go to AJ’s Sports bar and grille afterwards for awards immediately following the end of the tournament (Some food and beverage provided)
April 25th: Sunday – KS BBQ and Baseball Game: 11:30am: Kappa Sigma House: 3912 E. 21st #30

Who: All initiated Kappa Sigma’s and their closest friends
- The Friday night mixer is open to all Kappa Sigma’s
- The Saturday golf tournament is going to be semi-competitive and open to both Kappa Sigma’s and their friends. At least one member on each team MUST be an initiated member. This year instead of an “A” and “B” bracket, we will have multiple winners and more opportunities to win hole prizes.
- The Sunday baseball game and BBQ is open to all Kappa Sigma’s and their families.
How: Free T-shirts and Prizes!
- The Friday night mixer is Free!
- Each golf team will cost $240.00 or $60.00 per person. Each person on a team will receive a complimentary Kappa Classic t-shirt as well as a prize pack.
- Each baseball ticket will cost $10 and will include lunch before hand at the Kappa Sigma Fraternity house.
